Hopefully I'll see you after the full release! Take care, and stay healthy This ReadMe deals mainly with the Ravenhearst and Darkness Falls prefab lists instructions. The material on this site will be kept, if I can help it, so no worries about that. As of now, and probably also in the future, I'd prefer the vanilla RWG myself, and I'd rather create meaningful RWG Mixer files for it after the game's full release. I've felt this way for some time already. In my view, NitroGen creates wonderful wilderness landscapes, but too artificial city / locale integration, with too few possibilites to really adjust the POI placement in a meaningful way (also missing bridge placement logic, etc.). I don't know / can't say whether or not NitroGen will still have its place when the full game is released, but as of now, I'm just willing to wait, and I believe it's just not worth the effort putting more time in NitroGen prefab lists at this time (or anymore at all, for that matter, if the vanilla RWG continues going THAT strong and NitroGen just stays more or less the same, without POI biome classification or that fine quality city / locale integration). In addition to this, the devs have stated that the 7DTD full release is likely going to happen in 2021. The city / locale integration of the A19 RWG just outright declassifies NitroGen in my book, and The Fun Pimps (7DTD developers) seem to have more in store for the vanilla generator, so that you will be able to choose landscape types etc.

I planned to do further lists for A19, but, as I have to admit, now that I have tested 7DTD A19 experimental and seen the vanilla built-in Random World Generator and its current quality, I'm just not happy with using NitroGen anymore at this time. In this regard, players / testers are provided for, as my own lists reach as far as Alpha 18 as of now only.

As of now (the time of Alpha 19 Experimental release), MOD authors and other creators have made their own NitroGen prefab lists.

Any suggestions would be awesome!īetween your vanilla and 2k install, were you putting them in separate locations, or overwriting the same?Īre you absolutely certain that you are installing on a clean version of 17.1?Įac must be off indeed, when i first started reading, i thought that was going to be the problem. So it looks like it's a disconnect for me with the changes between vanilla and 2k. Also, I tried the vanilla ravenhearst mod and I got into the menus just fine. I am gaming on a ultrawide 144hz monitor. Some differences between the typical setup and mine. (Yep, just tried disabling EAC with no changes). I've tried changing my aspect ration (suggested on a different forum for unity games). The logo then disappears and I am stuck with a black screen. When I go to launch the game, the TFP logo pops up, and the music starts. I have tried most options in the launcher with the same outcome. Hey guys - I am sure you're tired of seeing this, but I am having an issue with the Ravenhearst 2k mod.

Next session I'll pay more attention and see what I see.

For what it's worth.I did a manual install so I'm not sure if that matters.

I also didn't see anything that was blurry as others have reported. Not sure if that's vanilla or if it's part of the Wind Enabled (I know you said it wasn't in there so that's my confusion there).Īs for the textures.I really haven't paid too much attention to them but them seemed fine to me. I just finished playing a session and I did notice that the grass was swaying with the wind but not the biome plants. Im looking into it now to see what exactly i may have done to cause this issue but so far all of Dusts files are the same in his file as they are in mine. I redownloaded the entire HD pack and ensured ive added all the files properly but the issue is still there. For some odd reason the vanilla textures all low resolution in all versions 2k and 4k. (wind enabled is not in though) but there seems to be a conflict in our mod. We have most of the HD mods already enabled and installed. Again.not asking that you add anything in.just asking what is already there and I (and others) can add what I'd/we'd like. If those are already eat! If not.can you please let us know just how much is in so maybe we can add those up above if we wish. I read on page 1 that you included the HDHQ Texture Pack in Vanilla, 2k and 4k, Now.I'm just wondering if this is simply the HDHQ MAIN Texture pack ONLY? The reason I ask is because I'd like to know if I have to add the OPTIONAL MODLETS that go with this and those are:īIOME OVERHAULS (the Vanilla REDUX files I mean) So far having fun but I was curious about Dust's HD packs.
